The WREN Project
The WREN Project came to us as a new start-up offering educational scholarships to LGBTQ and allied students who have demonstrated exceptional commitment in the efforts and fight towards equality for the LGBTQIA+ community. Our challenge was to create a brand platform and identity system to help portray the mission of empowering young people to live a life of truth with respect and acceptance by educating, supporting and inspiring ourselves and each other.
The new look needed to be flexible enough to accommodate different types of applications and had to use the pride colors. Obviously the wren was the focal point of the brand identity and after quite a few concepts, the WREN Project was born.
We worked alongside Orit Sager, Founder of the WREN Project, to establish a strategy aligned with the brand’s ambition and her audience’s desires. From identity and messaging, to the digital platform and content within it, we brought her personality forward to establish an experience that expresses the brand tagline—“Working for Rights, Equality & Education Now!.”
